What commercial septic services do you offer?
A commercial property with an on-site wastewater system has more moving parts than a home: bigger tanks, more pumps, alarms that someone has to answer and records that someone has to keep. We cover the whole list from one office:
- Commercial septic system maintenance: scheduled visits to inspect and service tanks, pumps, aerators, floats, alarms and control panels
- Septic tank pumping as part of a contract or as a one-time call
- Lift station service: pumping, pump repair, float and control panel repair, and alarms
- Grease trap pumping on a schedule that fits your kitchen
- BOD and TSS testing where your permit calls for effluent sampling
- Commercial installation and design, including the septic design and permit paperwork
- Pipe jetting for stubborn lines
- Sewer repairs and utility trenching
- Commercial excavation and land clearing
Which businesses and properties do you work with?
The systems are similar, but the schedules, the risks and the people who need the paperwork are different. Pick the page that matches your property:
- Restaurants and food service: grease traps plus the septic system behind them
- RV parks and mobile home parks: variable occupancy, dump stations and shared systems
- Apartments, HOAs and small utility districts: lift stations, contracts and records for boards
- Churches, schools and offices: heavy use on a few days, service around your calendar
- Builders and developers: design, permits, installation and site work from one contractor
- Farms, ranches and event venues: systems that see big crowds some days and none on others
How does a commercial septic account work?
Every property is different, so we start with the system in front of us rather than a fixed package. In general terms, an account looks like this:
- You call or send a quote request with the address, the type of business and what you know about the system.
- We walk the site, locate the tanks, pumps and panels, and look at what the system is doing now. If you have permit papers or past service records, bring them.
- We put the scope and the schedule in writing, so you know what each visit covers and when it happens.
- Technicians visit on that schedule, check the equipment and keep records you can hand to your manager, board or permitting office.
- If an alarm sounds or something breaks between visits, you call us and we schedule the repair.
Details such as visit frequency, response times, reporting format and which locations we cover are confirmed by phone, because they depend on your property and your county.
Does a commercial septic system need a maintenance contract?
Often, yes. Texas on-site sewage facilities (OSSFs) are regulated under TCEQ rules and permitted through the county. Aerobic systems are generally required to be under a maintenance contract, at least for the first two years, and commercial owners usually keep one in place well beyond that because downtime costs more than service visits. Requirements can differ by county, so check with your county permitting office or call us. See our commercial maintenance page for what a contract covers.
What areas do you serve?
We serve seven counties around Houston. Commercial work depends on the project, so call with the location and we will tell you whether and how we can take it on:
- Harris County and Montgomery County
- Waller County and Fort Bend County
- Austin County, Grimes County and Brazoria County
What else can your crews handle on a commercial site?
Septic projects usually come with dirt work. We do site preparation, grading and drainage, trenching and clearing, so the same company that sets the tanks can prepare the ground and restore it. Greater Houston clay and high water tables make drainage part of the plan, not an afterthought.
